Looking Back at 2013.

Hey everyone! As you all know, the year is coming to an end. It really is hard to believe that we've made it this far into the year already. I really didn't feel like 12 months has past. It all happened in a blink of an eye! One minute, the year just started, the next minute, i'm taking my results for my PMR examination. It is absolutely mindblowing. I'm writing this blog post to basically summarize the whole year.

In my opinion, 2013 was a year filled with homework, (lots of) procrastination and new experience. I think, overall, 2013 was a pretty bittersweet year. We had to work our butts off for first three quarters of the year and then we get to enjoy/worry for the last quarter of the year. But it was such a great experience. It was a terrifying one too. I remember on the first day of my exam, my heart was beating out of my chest, I couldn't exactly sit still, and I was just so so so nervous about taking my first paper. Thankfully, I had very encouraging family and friends who were by me the whole way and I am feeling so blessed to have them by me all the time. The week passed by really fast and before I knew it, we were already on our last paper. Ahh, the memories.

So besides my very important examination, let's talk about new experiences. The highlight of the year would most probably be dyeing my hair. It was a really big step for me in my opinion considering I really don't do anything with my hair and had the same hairstyle ever since I was little. I mean i'm not complaining, i'm perfectly comfortable with my hairstyle. But when I decided to cut it in a different style the end of last year, I ended up enjoying it a lot. It was like a whole new thing for me. It's still simple but it's much nicer than my old one. Anyway, in October, I decided to dye my hair cause i've been looking at dip dyed hair on the internet quite often so I said to myself, why not try it out. I wish I could have dyed more parts of my hair but i'm still happy about it. Maybe in the future, i'll dye more of it and try out a different colour too. :D

Another thing is performing more. This year was my comeback year, well sorta. Decided to perform more this year and it was definitely an awesome experience. This year, I participated in my schools talent competition and also performed during teachers day. The teachers day event was a really last minute thing, so me and my friend, Kristal, had to quickly come up with something. Luckily, we did manage to come up with something. But we kind of messed up in the middle of it and I went off the stage feeling really unsatisfied and disappointed in myself. Oh well. Besides performing in school, I also took part in open mics, two in fact. Both of them were hosted by the same person, Amrita Soon, and she's just such a great person. Go check her out, she writes great songs. Performing in a cafe in front of an audience is absolutely nervewrecking, trust me.

Other than performing, I have also started to listen more to the local acts. Not that much more but it's an improvement. xD Well it all started on the last day of my examination when my dad decided to bring me and my mum to an open mic at a restaurant hosted by Reza Salleh. We met him earlier in the year at ANOTHER open mic hosted by another musician and that was when it all sorta started. Reza is one of the most friendly and down to earth person I have ever met in my whole life. He's so warm and super nice to talk to which is so great. Hope we can see him soon. :D Anyway, ever since that open mic, we've been going to some of his shows that he hosts every month featuring about four acts each session and that's where I get to see some of the local acts performing. They are all so great and so talented. They really shouldn't be taken for granted.

Books has also been such a big part of my year. I didn't exactly read that much this year because I was spending more time studying but I was still reading throughout the year. In fact, I was actually reading a story on the day before my exams. xD Now, I read both online and the books that I buy. I was quite happy to have finished the Beautiful Creatures series, which is pretty awesome, if I must add. I like the concept of it. Then there's The Fault in Our Stars, WHICH I HAVE YET TO READ. Soon, I promise. I even stumbled across awesome books online. If you want to read something which is filled with action and lots of fictional magic, I suggest you read The Heinous Prodigies : The Lost Dreamer on Wattpad. Seriously one of the BEST books that I've read online. Go check it out!

Besides that, anothing thing that has become such a big part of my life is YouTube. Now, every morning when I wake up, the first thing I do is check my YouTube subscription feed. I just love youtubers so much and I admire them. They put so much effort into making videos every week like recording and editing it. The amount of work some of they put into editing their vids are just so nuts. It's really nice to watch them because it feels like they're talking right to you, and I just think that that's the magic of the whole vlogging thing. I am definitely looking forward to what they have stored for us in 2014. It's gonna be another crazy year for all of us but we are gonna go through it together. I just hope they never stop doing what they're doing because they are doing such a great job already and i'll miss them dearly if they ever stop .

I guess the last thing I want to talk to about with you guys is my blog. Whoa my blog has grown since I first made it. To have hit 11 000 this year was absolutely amazing. Thanks so much for all the support that you have given me whether you're just a blogwalker or a person who visits my blog regularly. It's just crazy to know how many people has visited this blog. I love each and every one of you guys and I want you all to just stay beautiful the way you are. Also, being able to update my blog regularly HAS to be one of my biggest achievements this year. I am seriously a very lazy person and to be able to update regularly each week for you for a few months was just crazy! I'm not even that disciplined with my homework. haha! Well, you guys should expect more blog posts next year because I am going to give it to ya! I hope I can cope with my work and still find time to blog for you guys. But I think it'll be fine.

We have reached the very end of the last post of 2013. I want the last post of the year to end with a bang because I think we should all celebrate it. The most important thing I want you guys to do is to remain being yourself, because the best person you can ever be is yourself. There is this quote which says "You're too amazing to be anything less than yourself. Just be you." Keep being nice to people and in return, people will be nice to you. If you ever failed at one point of the year, pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and keep trying. Don't ever give up. If you don't keep trying, you'll never know what you're missing out on. I like to say, failing is the first step to achieving success. We learn from our failures and our mistakes so don't give up! And to my friends and family, thank you so so so much for being so supportive throughout the whole year, I really couldn't have done it without you guys. Well, that's all i'm going to say right now. I already planned out my first blog post for the new year! I'll see you all very soon. Have a blessed new year everyone and stay beautiful. Till here, cheerio. (:

Song of the Week

Since it is the last year of the week, I'm rewarding you all with three songs. I just felt like its right. Hope you guys enjoy the songs I picked out for you guys! Here are the songs!

1) The first one is Pop Danthology. Since we're in this phase of looking back at the year and just enjoying the year altogether, I thought why not look at the top hits of the year. It's a good mash up and if you're a fan of mash up's I think you'll enjoy this. It consists of 68 songs. That is crazy!

2) Since Christmas was a week ago, here is a Holiday Medley by Kurt Hugo Schneider and performed by Max Schneider and Victoria Justice. Don't just listen to the video, WATCH IT! Don't question why, just do it!

3) Last but not least, I have been absolutely hooked to this song for the past week and I am more than excited to share it with you guys. This is the track written by Ed Sheeran for the new Hobbit movie called The Desolation of Smaug and it is super awesome. So here is I See Fire. I really like Ed and his music and i'm sure everyone who listens to him will just be brought to a whole new world. So check it out too!

Inconsistent Updating.

Hello everybody! Yes, I am well aware that I have not been updating regularly. And yes, I did not keep to my word, which is to update more often since i'm on my school break now. Super sorry, i've been busy wasting time doing other stuff. Like watching videos...

So, since there really isn't much to talk about considering that I usually spend my whole day doing nothing, I felt like doing a sort of question tag for you guys. And for that, we go to the wonderful land of tumblr to look for one. Since i've been watching loads of YouTube videos lately, I guess why not do this. I would like to present you all with the...

YouTuber Questions!

(yes it is actually called that. haha. i did not make that up.)

1. Who is your favourite YouTuber?
I would say Dan Howell from danisnotonfire. Well he is one of the first few vloggers that I watched and to be very honest, if it wasn't for Dan, i'm pretty sure I wouldn't be watching so many YouTubers. So, Dan is like the spark that started this whole obsession/craze whatever you call it. Besides Dan, there are also a couple of other YouTubers that I absolutely love like PJ (kickthepj), Felix (pewdiepie) and JC (O2L yo!). They're all equally awesome but Dan would still definitely be at the top because if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have known these people. Plus, Dan is just so adorable and he puts soooo much effort into making his videos. I admire the amount of effort he puts into editing his videos. And some of his videos are incredibly inspiring and meaningful so cheers to that!

2. Who is the first person you subscribed to?
To be honest, I HAVE NO IDEA. But if i would have to guess i'm pretty sure it was nigahiga. I am pretty sure about that. (yes, it's not dan. but i wasn't kidding about him being the reason why the youtube obsession started.)

3. Who is the most recent person you subscribed to?
If i'm not mistaken, I think it was Ricky Dillon. xD

4. What is the most recent video in your sub box?
LET NOTHING STAND IN YOUR WAY - Crashtastic #2 by pewdiepie.

5. Name your 5 all time favourite videos.
1) The Meaning of Life by danisnotonfire
2) What Not To Do in Town by danisnotonfire
3) List of Reasons Why I'm an Awful Human Being by danisnotonfire
4) Things I Don't Understand About Girls by Marcus Butler
5) Smosh Reacts to Kids React to Smosh by Smosh 2nd channel
(i told ya i like dan. xD)

6. Fantastic Foursome or The Youtube Crew?
You can't make me choose between these two groups, they're both awesome!

7. Who is your YouTube OTP?
Troyler. If you don't think they're cute, i'm judging you.

8. How many people are you subscribed to?
57! That's a lot okay.

9. Name a channel that isn't well known that you watch.
MyNamesChai (?) I'm not sure if he's not well known, but he's great! So go check him out!

10. Do you watch any daily vlogs? If so, who?
Nope, I don't watch any daily vlogs. I'm just far too lazy to. haha.

11. there's no 11 apparently. hahah!

12. If you could spend the day with one YouTuber, who would it be?
JC Caylen. cause he seems cool. :3

13. Have you ever gone to SITC, Playlist Live or VidCon?
Nope. It's too far away from where I live. ):

14. Have you met any YouTubers? Who?
Never met any yet. Hopefully i'll meet them one day!

15. Have you ever been noticed by anyone on tumblr/twitter? Does anyone follow you?
None. Moving on...

16. Who is your least favourite YouTuber?
I don't really have one. I think they're all fantastic.

17. What is your favourite tag video?
Not sure if this is a tag but obviously THE PHOTOBOOTH CHALLENGE. How can one not like the photobooth challenge.

18. What/who is your favourite collab?
Phan. Especially when they make baking vids.

19. Are you subbed to the most subscribed channel on YouTube? (according to the set of questions it's pewdiepie)
YES! OF COURSE! He is awesome!

20. Do you have any unpopular opinions about YouTubers? If so, what is one?
I don't really have anything to say. I think they are doing such a great job at what they're doing and I honestly can't find anything to say about it. They're already doing as much as they can to make their viewers happy, so yeah.

21. Kiss, marry, kill the first 3 people in your sub box.
Kiss : nigahiga
Marry : pewdiepie
Kill : RayWilliamJohnson (i'm sorry Ray! you're awesome!)

22. Name all of your YouTube ships.
Melix and Zalfie.

23. What YouTuber are you most like, personality wise?
I really have no idea. I can't really answer this. What do you think though?

24. When did you join the YouTube fandom?
When I started watching Dan! Which is about 9 months ago? More or less 9 months ago.

25. What is the last video you watched?
A tomska video! :D

Okay that is all. Well that is longer than I thought. Hahaha. So, I guess that's it for now. I hope you all enjoy this weeks blog post. I spent a LOT of time doing it. Anyway, that's all for now! See you all soon. Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week

This week i'm being a bit more local and chose a song sung by a local guy. This song is really good and you all should really hear it. The song I chose this week is Make Me Whirl by Narmi. I love his stage name, it's awesome and unique. Click and listen! Hope you guys like it as much as I do.

The Hunger Games Appreciation Post

Hey everyone! Recently (aka yesterday), I went to watch the second installment in The Hunger Games franchise which is Catching Fire, and it was one of the best movies that I have ever watched in my entire life. So in this post, i'm mainly going to be going on and on about how it was just so awesome in so many ways. If you have not watched the movie yet, I highly suggest you stop reading from here on. There are spoilers in it. (:

Okay, so first things first, overall it was a really good movie. I thoroughly enjoyed every second spent watching it in the cinema. It was just that good. From the actors, to the costumes, to the scenes of the location where they were filming, in my opinion they were absolutely perfect. Kudos to the director of the film, Francis Lawrence, for doing such a great job with everything. I really liked how he imagined the games, the capitol, the districts, how the whole setting was. I preferred his vision of the games much more compared to the vision of the previous director. Suzanne Collins, the author of the book, did such a great job at writing the story and of course we shouldn't forget to credit her because without her, The Hunger Games wouldn't have existed in the first place.

The movie, Catching Fire, to me is much more kid friendly than the Hunger Games. There isn't as much blood and violence as there was in the first movie. As a person who didn't exactly read the books before I went to watch the Hunger Games, I was very shocked to see so much blood and violence. I only knew the gist of the whole story so I couldn't really picture what it would be like. But after watching The Hunger Games, I decided to try reading the story, and I instantly fell in love with it. So obviously, I would have already read Catching Fire before watching it and at least this time I knew what to expect. I was expecting a lot more violence and gore but it was surprisingly okay. Sure, there was still the killing happening, but it wasn't all that bad. There wasn't as much blood and I guess because of the setting which is basically a jungle right next to the beach, most of the tributes would instantly disappear into the water after they're killed. Well, that's what I felt happened in the movies. So it saves you the discomfort of having to see dead bodies lying around as they did in the first one (which was very unsightly).

The arena. It was beautiful. I wonder how they even got such a location to film. It was just absolutely beautiful. How it was supposed to look like a clock. And how they divided it into 12 different sectors. I can't say much about it except that it was the most incredible looking arena I have ever seen. And the cornucopia! It still isn't really a gold horn, but at least in this movie the cornucopia did resemble a horn (well, sorta. that's what I think anyway). And the added effect for the forcefield was just incredible. Like I didn't even expect it to look that good. I have to admit, the first time I saw the arena I was kind of judgemental about it considering that that was not how I imagined it in my head when reading it. But after a while, you just start enjoying the whole scenery and it was just spectacular. The arena was really a full circle and you could clearly see the dome.

The costumes! Undeniably one of the highlights of the film. The costumes used by the characters in this film was just so beautiful. I especially like the one that both Katniss and Peeta had to wear on the chariot (the flame effects were wonderful) and Katniss' wedding dress. If you watched the movie, and you say that you don't like the wedding dress, you are lying. I loved how it turned into the Mockingjay. The symbol that Katniss represented. It was very very nice. And the whole transformation process. Wow, just wow. I was just speechless and was blown away by the beauty of the dress. It was definitely a 10/10. It wasn't just the dresses, but I also loved the uniforms that were given to the tributes to be worn in the arena. Again, it wasn't exactly what I imagined when I read the book but what they produced were what was written in the book so they definitely did a great job.

Last but not least the actors and actresses and their characters. So in this film, more people are added into the Hunger Games family. It was so great to see all these characters come to life. Some of the new characters include, Finnick Odair, played by Sam Claflin, and also Johanna Mason, played by Jena Malone. There are also other characters like Wiress, Beetee and Mags. I like Mags. :3 Annie (the girl Finnick is in love with) is also in the film, but she was only there for a short while. The actors did such a great job with their characters. I loved the chemistry between Katniss and Peeta. They definitely convinced me that they were in love. (i'm a hard Everlark shipper. I have to admit that.) The scenes between Katniss and Peeta were just great, especially their intimate scenes like the one where Katniss screams after getting a nightmare and Peeta comes in to comfort her. Josh and Jennifer were just so good at it.

Another scene that I particularly liked was the one where Peeta gets electrocuted by the forcefield and his heart stops for a while but he was saved by Finnick after Finnick performed CPR on him and the look on Katniss face was just so incredible. She was shaking at the fear of losing Peeta and when Peeta comes back to life, she was just so relieved and it was just all there in the moment. I can't exactly articulate how it was like so that's the best I could do. I'm extremely sorry if that sounded like a blubbery mess. xD Also, Sam was such a great Finnick and Jena was such a great Johanna, I LOVED THEM! Sam captured that charming attitude that Finnick has, and Jena was just great at being the sassy person that Johanna is (check out the elevator scene and you'll know what I mean). Not to forget, Woody Harrelson (Haymitch Abernathy), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket) and Lenny Kravitz (Cinna, Katniss' stylist). They were all absolutely splendid. It definitely wouldn't be perfect without these people. After a while, you'll grow really fond of these characters, trust me.

So I guess that is pretty much all I can say right now about the movie. Overall, it is definitely one of the best films i've seen in my entire life. No doubt. I have high expectations for Mockingjay Part 1. I hope it will be just as great as this film. That's all for now. Hope you enjoyed my opinion of it, and remember that these are just opinions. Everyone are tied to their own opinions and if you thought of the movie differently then there is nothing wrong with that. If you have not watched the movie, I highly suggest you do so, because it's a great movie and i'm not just saying that cause i'm a fan of the books. Seriously, go watch it. So yup, thats it. Till here, cheerio.

ps. there will be no song of the week for this week but i'm leaving it with something much nicer than it. (: what I want you to do, is to just read it and enjoy this beautiful piece of literature.

"Peeta and I grow back together. There are still moments when he clutches the back of a chair and hangs on until the flashbacks are over. I wake screaming from nightmares of mutts and loss children. But his arms are always there to comfort me. And eventually his lips. On the night I feel that thing again, the hunger that overtook me on the beach, I know this would have happened anyway. That what i need to survive is not Gale’s fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that.
So after, when he whispers “You love me. Real or not real?”
I tell him, “Real." "

Hello November!

Hey everyone! How are you guys doing? (I hope that didn't sound weird in a way because that's how I usually greet people) Anyway, I didn't really keep my promise of updating weekly but trust me, it's been going through my mind the whole week. Couldn't really get my mind off stuff.

It's a new month! It is seriously mindblowing to know that we're only one month and a half to 2014. I can't believe it. I remember when the year was just starting and when I was still counting the months to my examination. But now, it feels as if it all happened just in the blink of an eye. To be honest, November is one of my favourite months of the year. One, because it's my birth month and two, because it's basically the Thursday of the year. Weird reasons I know.

So, just a couple of days ago I was celebrating my birthday with my friends and parents. It was a fun day indeed. We went ice skating, archery, played with bumper cars and sat in a ferris wheel. Simple to say, we had tons of fun. Especially with the bumper cars, we actually went for two rounds of that. haha. We kept on knocking into each other but we really did enjoy ourselves doing it. Ice skating and archery was fun too but it left us pretty sore. All of us were complaining. xD Well, at least we had fun!

Besides celebrating my birthday, i've been a really lazy person. I'm basically on the internet every day. I've also been reading books but it's hard to do that without being distracted to go on the internet. I finally finished Beautiful Chaos (third book in the Beautiful Creatures series) and Flyaway. Both of which I have enjoyed reading despite the absolutely different plots and genre. Another thing to be excited about is the release of Catching Fire which is the second movie in The Hunger Games trilogy. I've watched the trailer and it looks absolutely awesome. Can't wait to watch it.

I guess that's all for now. Before I forget, please don't spam the chat box at the side. I know you want to promote your blog and stuff but i'd like to see what people think of my posts too (well not like anyone actually does but what the heck) I'd really appreciate it guys, thanks! Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week

I've only been listening to this song for the past day but it is super catchy and i'm pretty sure you guys will like it too. So I have chosen The 2012 Song as this weeks song choice. I know it's 2012 not 2013 but it is still catchy as hell and you would feel dancing to it. Troye writes really good songs! haha hope you guys like it!

here's a gif of logan as a reward for being so patient.
(pretty logan :3)

ps. if you guys can get the pen that turns into a sword that percy jackson has, I would really appreciate it if you can give it to me as a birthday present. *inserts innocent smile here*

Random Post of the Week!

Hello everyone! First and foremost, how are you all doing? I hope you all had a splendid September and October. As you all know, I haven't been updating for the past two months due to my important examination. But now i'm proud to say that the exam is over and I am partly relieved. I'm not that relieved yet because the results aren't out yet and i'm still sorta freaking out inside but let's not worry about that too much.

I wanted to surprise everyone with this blog post because I now only realized how long I haven't been updating. I can't believe that I even managed to keep a weekly schedule for like the past 5 months or so. It really has been such a great achievement for me. I would also like to thank everyone for visiting my blog and tuning in to it every week to check out on the new events that happened in the past week. I'll try to update as often as possible considering that my exams are over and I basically spend all day on my laptop everyday because there really is nothing to do.

So I was just checking out my blog pageviews and I seriously can't believe that the second most country that visits my blog is the United States. It is seriously mind blowing. And there are a lot of other countries that I wouldn't even expect to see on the list and yet they're there. I am completely shocked and dumbfounded. Because of that, i'm going to continue with my weekly blog post and try to update more regularly. Maybe i'll give this blog a makeover also considering I don't really need most of the things that are in the layout. hahaha.

Now, back to business, life after the exam is not to say that exciting. It has been pretty boring so far but at least you won't need to listen to me rant and complain about the amount of work that needs to be done. Funny thing is, the teachers still make us go to school. We don't even need to do anything actually and yet they make us go to school. But, being the person I am, I didn't exactly go to school regularly. It was more of a "do I feel like going to school" thing and also the "if my friends aren't going, I don't think I need to too" thing. xD Hopefully i'll be able to spend some time with my friends again in the holidays.

I honestly have nothing really planned out for the holidays. I have a lot of books on my reading list though. hahaha. Lots of series to catch up on and stuff like that. Since I have all the time in the world right now, I should probably get started on it. Besides that, maybe i'll also try to save up money to buy more albums! Recently, I bought two albums. One of them is the deluxe edition of Night Visions by Imagine Dragons. It is a really good album you should go check them out! And the other is 24/Seven, the third album by Big Time Rush. :D *+2 into ALBUM COLLECTION*

Something else that I have been doing a lot lately is skyping with my friends. We would usually just arrange a time in the late afternoon or around midnight and just do weird things. xD We'd sometimes watch videos and other times find a nice game to play. We haven't really found a game to stick to but I guess the games that we have now are not bad and at least they manage to keep us entertained. Another thing awesome about skyping is video messaging, you guys should try it out. It's seriously fun and entertaining! xD

I guess that's all for now. It was great getting to write for you all again! I hope to see you all next Saturday. Have a blessed week everyone! Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week

You guys wouldn't think that I would have forgotten about this segment would you. Well I didn't. This segment was basically kind of the only reason why I was so eager to update every week. But sometimes it's really terrible when I can't come up with a song. ): Anyway, this weeks song choice is... Every Night by Imagine Dragons! It's by far one of the best songs on the album and I highly recommend you all to go and check the song out. If you liked the songs i've recommended in the past, then i'm sure you'll love this song too! See y'all next week.

ps. my best friend kaye says hi!

A Day To Remember...

Hello everyone! Really sorry again for not posting on time for the past few weeks. It was just mainly because I was lazy. Not kidding. Gonna update today, which is in fact a Friday, for you guys! Not that i'm sure there's people who will read it but hope you guys enjoy this weeks blog post. :D

Okay so first things first, the school holidays! Well, it was two weeks filled with fun and relaxation. I actually didn't really touch anything related to studying. That is not what you should do when you are two months away from one of your major exams. (Now it's one month but who's counting anyway... psh...) The first week was just mainly spent lazing around my house watching videos and such. I would consider myself a professional at being lazy and doing nothing. :D

On to the second week, the second week was definitely more busy than the first week. In the second week I had to sit for my Guitar Exam. It was definitely freaky. Adding the fact that my first guitar exam did not go as I thought it would but fortunately this time it was better. Also managed to spend some time with my 6 best friends! They are seriously the best. We were suppose to wear matching scarfs but that didn't exactly happen. My dad actually helped me tie my scarf around my neck and it was so pretty I did not want to take it out. But ended up taking it out anyway because wearing a scarf in a really hot country isn't exactly the smartest thing to do. hahah. We also went to the arcade to burn some time before going to watch RIPD (which was okay in my opinion). We played on that dancing machine and it was absolutely terrible! There were just too many moves to do in one time even with 3 people playing for one dance pad.

DA BEST OF FRIENDS.

Now on to the first week of school! Definitely the most tiring first week of school. I had to stay back almost everyday because sports day was on that Saturday! But it was really fun to spend time with everyone in the group. If I forgot to mention, I was in the Blue House cheer team this year. :D Made some really good friends in the cheer team. They're definitely one of the most awesome and nice people I have every met in my entire life. :D On sports day, it was definitely a new experience for me. I have not exactly been to a sports day before so this was my first one. xD It was a really good experience. We had to cheer for our house members in the sun which was the highlight of the day because if was so fun! (sense the sarcasm) The highlight of the day was of course the part where it was time for us to perform. It turned out really awesome! All in all, it was definitely a day to remember. So fortunate to have been part of the whole thing. :D

So here's some pictures as a reward!

biting le medals.

absolutely love the flag!

cheer team with le medals! :D

The cheer team! :D

definitely my favourite photo of them all. xD

Well I hope you guys enjoyed this weeks blog post. I had a lot of fun writing it and I hope you guys have tons of fun reading it. Need to occupy myself with some revision for now. Did I mention that i absolutely loved the shirt? It's so nice! hahaha. See you all in the near future. Don't think i'll be updating regularly. Till here, cheerio!

Song of the Week

You thought I would have forgotten this part didn't you... Well I didn't! xD I really like this weeks song choice because it's just absolutely awesome! So this weeks song of the week is Classic by MKTO. It's one of the two songs that they released and i've heard both of them. Can't wait to hear more from them because i've been liking what i'm hearing so far. You should check their wiki page out. MKTO is actually kind of the initials of their names combined. How is that not cool. Hope you enjoy the song and have a good weekend!

We're My OTP

Just a little update for all you beautiful people out there! Stay lovely!

Saturday, August 3, 2013

Hello Everyone!

Hello again everybody! Sorry I haven't been updating recently. I've been rather busy with my exam preparations. The exam's are over now and we are given two weeks of holiday! So hooray for that. Really excited about not having to wake up at 6 in the morning to get ready for school.

So basically my agenda for the holiday is to mainly be a couch potato. Yep. Ever since before the exam, I have longed to just spend time with my computer to read fanfics, watch YouTube vids and movies. I mean that's what I absolutely love to do and I had to put that aside when I was getting ready for my trials. ): At least we got through that part. And I guess I have already started with my holidays, so far I have watched about 58 KickThePJ videos. That is what I call achievement. You guys honestly have to go and check him out, he is seriously a very creative person and his voice is just absolutely asdfghjkl. (I apologize for fangirling)

And it's not just YouTube vids, I feel like watching some really cool movies too. When you have unlimited internet, you don't put it to waste, YOU MAXIMIZE USAGE. The sky is the limit. Maybe Hansel & Gretel : Witch Hunters and Grown Ups 2. Yup. Those are some on my list. Recently, i've also watched a couple of really awesome movies like Sundays at Tiffany's and School of Rock. Both of the movies are really awesome. In Sundays at Tiffany's the main character falls in love with her 'imaginary friend' which turns human. Weird... but cool. I like weird stuff. I mean what's not to love about it.

The school week on the other hand is not so interesting. Hahaha. If you think having to sit for really important papers for the whole week is interesting then yes, it was a VERY interesting week. xD On the last 15 minutes of school, I was kind of saying "summer,summer,summer..." like how they did in High School Musical 2. My friend was like laughing behind me and she went "So you're gonna be saying that for 15 minutes?" and I was like "YEAH!" But that was pretty much it. I just hope that my results will be okay. We also like scribbled the catchphrases of some of the YouTubers that my friend and I watch. It's so awesome to have someone who shares a common interest with you. I also sorta drew the Smosh logo and wrote "SHUT UP!". By far, the best last 15 minutes of school ever.

Before I forget, I would also loooveeee to do some collaboration with my talented friend! Really hope we can find the time to record it. xD Also, vidcon is happening! I really wish I can be there but that's just an example of what you have to go through when you live so far away from events like this. It's saddening. Hopefully i'll be able to go out this weekend and get some awesome stuff although I don't really buy a lot of stuff because of the amount of stuff I have at home. I do want a flower crown though I just find it absolutely adorable!

Yeah, so I guess that's pretty much it for me now. And at least I'm updating this on a Saturday! WOOHOO! That's something to celebrate. :D Don't forget to check out PJ's channel! I'm gonna put a link right there. He's just someone that you can get addicted to easily. See you all next week! Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week

Being the person I am, this weeks song of the week is yet another cover. I just absolutely love this cover and nothing compares to it. So, this weeks song of the week is.... the cover of Beneath Your Beautiful by Max Schneider and Liz Gillies! When you put Max and Liz together you can expect a whole load of awesome-ness. They're just extremely good together. Don't you think so? Tell me what you think about it in the chat box at the side!

10 000 Views!

Hello everybody! I came on today to find out that I reached 10 000 pageviews! This is actually pretty awesome. Thank you to everyone who visited my blog. I really appreciate it! I also realized that nowadays I would usually update my blog on a Sunday when it's really supposed to be updated on Saturdays. Hahaha i'll try my very best to make sure it's updated on time.

here's a cookie as a reward for 10 000 pageviews! :D

Lately, i've been really busy with school work so I don't really have time to do other stuff. Sometimes, i'll use my extra time to watch videos because videos have become such an essential part of my life nowadays. But i'll have to cut down video-watching time as my trials are coming. I really hope that i'll be prepared by then. I think another reason why I update a day late is because of how i'd usually be out of the house on Saturdays and that my Sundays are more of a stay-at-home day.

This week, it was sort of birthday celebration week! One of my friends baked a cake to celebrate my other two friends birthday because their birthdays were during the fasting month and we can't eat the cake then. The cake that my friend baked was a cheesecake with oreo powder. Yum yum. Sadly I only ate a tiny piece because my other friends finished it. Yup, it was that good. Also, last week I celebrated my mum's birthday! We had a cake too for that. WOOHOO. The cake was pretty good. But, if you haven't eaten anything for a day, do not have two slices of cake as your first meal. It isn't a very smart thing to do. xD

Teacher has been drilling us with model test papers in school and to be honest I actually kinda like doing it. Its pretty fun. (I am so weird for saying that.) We also have other homeworks like notes and essays which is something that I would much rather not do. hahaha. I recently found out that Cory Monteith who plays Finn Hudson in Glee passed away. ): To all the gleeks, Lea and their families respectively, my heart goes out to all of you. Stay strong gleeks!

I guess that's all I have to say for now. Kinda excited that tomorrow is Kaye's birthday! Woohoo! I really hope she'll like her present. I would also want to wish everybody out there who is fasting, Happy Fasting! I'll see you all again next week. (hopefully i won't be too lazy to update and am not too busy with my homework) Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week

I'm pretty sure that I have mentioned this singer before on my blog. He has covered the song No Diggity with Ed Sheeran. Can you guess who he is? If you guessed passenger then you're right! :D Anyway, this weeks song of the week is Let Her Go by Passenger. It's a really nice and slow song and I think it's just absolutely beautiful. Hope to hear more songs by him on the radio. (:

A Very Quick Post!

Hello everyone! Since I can't possibly leave all of you hanging for the weekend, i'm just gonna make a quick update. Maybe a paragraph or so and then attach some pictures. :D

So, this week has been really boring. Nothing interesting happened at all. Unless having to redo your geography project is called interesting then yeah, I guess I had a slightly interesting week. The highlight of the week would definitely be going to IKEA and Coliseum yesterday. :D But I guess that was pretty much it. hahaha

PICCA!

hahaha so yeah that was pretty much it. I was way to lazy to go through all of them. I'm gonna be really busy because of my preparations for my trials at the end of this month so i'm not sure how often my blog updates will be. :O I'm really sorry for the late post. Hope to come back with something interesting soon! See you guys next week. Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week!

This weeks song of the week is Acapella by Karmin. Also, mainly because I haven't heard a new song from Karmin for a long time. Kinda happy to be hearing Karmin on the radio again. :D Hope you guys enjoy the song.  ps. OMG AMY IS BLONDE?!?!?

The Fire Drill

Hello everyone! A couple of really interesting events happened this week. Which is really cool. Also, we had a last minute day off from school on Monday because of the haze so we kind of fast forwarded in the week.

Like the title says, a fire drill really was carried out. It was an extremely cool experience. I haven't been in a fire drill since primary school which could've been like 4/5 years ago. So anyway, we were in class then all of a sudden the bell started ringing. I kind of though it was normal since it would usually ring to mark the periods. But the ringing this time was wayyy different. When walking out of the class, we could see other students running too. But not exactly running very fast, but at a reasonable pace. (i'm not sure if that made sense)

Once we all assembled at the hall, there were a group of real fire fighters who were there to demonstrate how to use a fire extinguisher. They literally created a small fire... WHICH ALL OF A SUDDEN TURNED INTO A BIG ONE AND STARTED RELEASING BLACK SMOKE. But it was just for a moment so I guess it didn't really cause anything? I hope it didn't cause the haze has been clearing up and it would suck for it to be hazy again.

The fire fighters invited a few people from the school to try extinguishing the fire. I guess it was kinda cool to see your absolutely adorable teacher wipe out a fire with a fire extinguisher. They had to wear the really thick jackets and a helmet which is so big! My friends said my teacher was standing too close to the fire. xD Fortunately she made it out of there okay. That's pretty much it.

Today, my school had their annual prize giving ceremony and i'm proud to say that I participated in it. Since I was in the school choir, we had a performance. I also received two awards for getting the highest score for two subjects in the whole form. It was a pretty exciting day today. :D

That's pretty much all that happened today and for the past week. The week went by fast. I also have to start my intense revision because trials are coming up! I hope I'll be able to score well for my trials which is going to happen next month. *yikes* Till here, cheerio!

Song of the Week

I am absolutely happy to hear these boys again. This week the song I have chosen is 24/seven by Big Time Rush. It's been a long time since I heard something new from them and also since I heard something from them on the radio. Listen to it and tell me what you think about it. :D

A Hazy Week

Hello everyone! It's time for that weekly upload. :D First of all, I wanna give a huge shoutout to Max Schneider (not that he's gonna read this post) for turning 21 yesterday! Cheers to the guy. :D

So basically, the week went by really fast. Also, the haze condition have been getting worse day by day. Every morning, the first thing you smell is smoke. It's also getting pretty thick so you can't exactly see buildings that are far away. The last time a haze was this bad was when I was still in primary school. I really hope that the haze conditions will improve within the couple of days because I honestly don't want to be smelling smoke for the next few days. It is not pleasant at all.

Overall, it has also been a really tiring week. I had to stay back three days in a row. But it was pretty fun. We got to see the students play Tarik Tali (not exactly sure how to spell it in english). The game was pretty intense especially the boys category. They've got extremely strong boys in the Yellow House. Congrats to the Yellow House for winning both categories. A lot of people lost their voice cheering for their houses. xD I have to admit even I was shouting for my house but fortunately I didn't really lose my voice.

The highlight of the week would definitely be Friday. First of all, we had a good 1 hour and 20 minutes of PJ. Which usually will be cut down to 1 hour because of the activity that they have every Friday. Then during geography, our teacher was in a really good mood which is was supah dupah dope because she would usually scold us most of the time. I guess she was really happy because she bought drinks for the whole class. YAY! It was so awesome. After recess, we didn't study for one period and during that time I played Monopoly Deal with Nadiah, in class. xD For the last two periods of school, we had this program called Mentor Mentee. During that program we didn't study either so all in all it was a good day. *thumbs up*

Now, I have to finish up my history project because the deadline is coming up. Before I forget. I uploaded a cover of me singing Gone Gone Gone by Phillip Phillips on soundcloud! I would really appreaciate it if you could go check it out. (: I guess that's all for this week. Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week

The song of the week for this incredibly awesome week is The Other Side by Jason Derulo. It's an awesome song! I haven't heard anything new from Jason Derulo so this is pretty awesome. Have always liked his songs anyway. If you have time make sure to also catch the cover of the song made by Max, Keke Palmer, Kurt Hugo Schneider and..... JASON DERULO HIMSELF! Not so much of a cover since the original singer is there. Also, the cover by Alex G and Jason Chen is amazing so go check that out too!

The First Week of School...

Hello everyone! So sorry that this weeks blog post is posted a day late yet again. Was out the whole day yesterday and couldnt find the time to update my blog.

Anyway, this week, a couple of exciting things happened. Apparently, on the first day of school we were suddenly informed that someone needed to go up and give a speech. We had absolutely no idea about this and was told that we would be demerit-ed if we didn't find someone to represent the class. HOORAY! What a shocking first day of school.

Other than that, on Friday, I went to Taylors Lakeside College to see an open mic. I have to say it is one of the most awesome things you can ever be part of. I mean if you're interested in music or just like to see people performing. Well, generally an open mic is an event where you can sign up and perform a couple of songs or whatever you want to. Met more awesome people at the open mic. Hope that I can participate in one open mic after PMR. It's time to get involved!

Remember how I said that i'll try to get some photo's. I finally got them onto the comp (well more like my dad transferred it) Anyway, here they are!

Was far too lazy to caption the photos. Maybe i'll just edit it in later or something if i feel like it. I would also want to wish all the beautiful fathers in the world a Happy Father's Day! ENJOY IT! See you all next week. Till here, cheerio!

Song of the Week

This weeks song of the week is yet another cover. Hahahaha. I have a lot of covers as my songs of the week. Well, this week is a cover of I Want You Back by Max Schneider and his band a.k.a the Babes. Funny name i know but it's also an extremely fun name to say. xD Anyway, hope you guys will enjoy this weeks blog post.

It's Time for School

Hey guys! Here's this weeks update. Today i'll just briefly tell you guys about my trip to Kota Bharu. And also, school is starting on Monday. ): Sad face. Well I had a pretty enjoyable holiday despite the amount of homework I have.

So, Kota Bharu is the capital of a state called Kelantan. It's just mainly popular for it's culture and definitely its food. Who am I kidding, Malaysia has the best food in the world, to me. I really enjoy Malaysian cuisine because of its variety. I took a plane there because driving a car would take almost a whole day compared to taking a plane which is so much faster. It turns out that the hotel I was staying in is owned by one of my close friends. I found it really cool. xD

In Kota Bharu, we did not have a car to bring us around. We had to depend on walking to visit all the attractions in the city. The weather was hot and humid so the walk wasn't very pleasant. I found myself complaining over the weather countless times. Fortunately, our hotel was strategically located not far from the place we wanted to visit so it was only a 10-15 minute walk. But because of the hot weather it felt much longer. We decided to visit Pasar Siti Khadijah which is a wet market which is not exactly out of the ordinary but it was a really cool market because it consisted of a few floors and you'll not only find vegetables and meat in the market but also Batik!

Next to Pasar Siti Khadijah is Kompleks Batik (or well i think that's what it's called) In that building, they sell all sorts of Batik clothing. I got a kaftan for my cute cousin and a dress for me. I was given money to spend so I decided to spend it on the dress. It's different and unique, so why not. We also visited Pantai Cahaya Bulan which is a really short beach. A lot of people were flying their kites in the beach which filled the sky with colours. I managed to get some really cool pictures because the sun was just setting. Oh I forgot to mention that we managed to rent a car for a day. (HOORAY FOR THE AIR COND)

With the car, we could drive to further places so we decided to look for the temples. At first, we gave up on the idea because it was out of town and we weren't sure if we could find it. But on our way back to town from visiting another beach, we bumped into one of the popular temples and so we decided to find the temple with the sleeping Buddha. WE SUCCEEDED. WE FOUND THE TEMPLE! It was a really awesome experience. Also, because Kelantan is right next to Thailand, some of the temples has thai writing on it which made it really cool.

That pretty much sums up my whole visit to Kelantan. xD I hope you enjoyed reading it. I don't think it sounds as nice as the way I described Singapore. hahahaha. I would also apologize over the fact that i couldn't get pictures on sooner. Well, i'll see you all again next week. Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week

Recently, I started watching SMASH online since it was the holidays and it kind of inspired me to watch 13 The Musical on Broadway because Max was in it. Then I discovered that the lead guy in the film is the guy from Ben 10 (yes I used to watch Ben 10, don't judge me. xD). Anyway, I looked the guy up and found out that he used to date Ariana Grande and has a song with her. This weeks song of the week is Stick Around by Graham Phillips and Ariana Grande. It's pretty catchy and I hope you guys will like it. I mean, who knew Ben could sing! xD

I'm Back!

Hello everyone! After two weekends i spent out of town, i'm finally back to update my blog. I apologize that you guys had to wait so long for an update but here i am giving you guys an update, on a Monday. Wouldn't want you guys to wait any longer for it. :D

First weekend was spent in Singapore! So basically, Singapore is an extremely modern city. Like seriously, skyscrapers everywhere. :O Despite how big the city was, it was really easy to navigate ourselves around town because of the transport system there which is really really reliable. The best part is that a train comes every 5 minutes. So we don't really have to wait for long. We also had the pleasure of seeing the whole of Singapore thanks to my dad's friend who brought us around the town in his car. We also had dinner with my dad's friend and his wife at restaurants which has exceptionally good food.

At Singapore, I visited some of the tourist attractions there. On the second day, we went to the S.E.A. Aquarium which stands for the South East Asia Aquarium. Its located right opposite Universal Studios Singapore in Sentosa Island. We had to line up for 4 hours before finally entering the world's largest aquarium. At least the wait was worth it because there were many types of fish in the aquarium. Tons of them! We took a lot of photos, hopefully I can get it into the computer for my next blog post.

On the third day, we decided to go shopping for a while. Went to the mall not far from the hotel and got a few stuff. :D After shopping for a while, we took an MRT to a mall that we accidentally discovered a few years ago. In that mall, there's a stall that serves really good Indonesian food. (really ironic how i went to Singapore to eat Indonesian food xD) After eating, we bought frozen yogurt (which i forgot how awesome it tasted because i haven't eaten it for years). I really enjoyed that meal. xD

After going to the shopping mall, we went to Marina Bay Sands. What's really frustrating is that there were like a bunch of YouTubers IN THAT BUILDING. The YouTubers that i watch all the time WERE IN THE SAME BUILDING AS ME. They were all apparently there for the Social Star Awards. I was really hoping that i could at least bump into one of them but sadly. ): Anyways, we visited the Skypark, which is located right at the top of the building. You know the ship on top of the building, yup, there! :O We could see all the buildings surrounding the tower. But you can't really see the city because Marina Bay Sands is like right at the side of the island. After visiting the Skypark, we walked over to Gardens by the Bay, which is like a park right next to Marina Bay Sands, so it wasn't that far. I was pretty glad that we managed to do everything we wanted in one day. (It was pretty rushed since we already spent one whole day in the aquarium)

On my last and final day in Singapore, we just walked a few blocks over to a shopping mall. We didn't do much there though, but i did manage to get myself a new school bag as my current school bag's zip is broken. hahahaha. I like my school bag! Soon after, we had to rush back to the hotel because we had to leave and continue our journey to the airport. We walked (pulling our hand luggage) all the way to the nearest train station and bought a ticket to go to the airport. .... and that was pretty much how it went. This concludes my trip in Singapore.

It was a really really enjoyable trip and i really enjoyed myself. It's a beautiful city to go to and i hope i'll be given the chance to explore more of the city in the future. Also, i left out the part where i actually went to school in the morning and had to rush back to catch my flight to Singapore. It was a fun day. I certainly did not expect the blog post to be this long but it did. xD I hope you guys enjoyed reading this post and i will be back later this week to blog about my recent adventure. See you guys later in the week. Till here, cheerio!

Song of the Week

This week's Today's song will be Nothing Without Love by Max Schneider! Its a really nice song that you can dance to and also his single. So proud that he was able to reach his goal in his Kickstarter to produce it. I think that's pretty much it for today. See you all later this week. (:

A Week More!

Hello everyone! This weeks blog post will be uploaded in time. Hooray for that! And also to the fact that my mid term examinations are finally over. There were a lot of past year questions in this exam. To be honest it was quite difficult too. :O

Anyway, since nothing really exciting happened this week, i just feel like ranting. :D A lot of incidents this week caused a lot of rants to appear in my head. I mean not like I rant in real life or anything, but i like to rant to myself. Back to the point, have you ever looked at someone more fit than you and say to yourself, "I wanna be like that too." Then you ideas start sprouting but then you laziness kicks in and you're like "meh" So yeah, that's like basically a daily routine for me. Laziness over powers motivation. Woohoo. Well, as long as i still get good marks in exams i dont really mind. xD

Another thing i'd like to rant about is the fact that i have spent almost a couple of hours trying to find a nice song to cover but i literally can't find anything good. No i mean like seriously, i try recording it and i just sound really bad so i try another song but it comes out bad too. And the cycle goes on and on. Now i've finally given up on finding a song so no cover. ): Well, it saves my time so :DDDDDD. I wish i had a better voice though.

Earlier this week, i came across this page on Facebook which is called "The World Has Talent" and they had like tons of videos of extremely talented people covering songs. They sound so good. Why can't i sound that good. Gah depression kicks in. Not really. xD Also, i have tons of work that i totally put aside and forgot about because i had to study for the exams. I have like 5 different subjects or more. Yes, i counted. I definitely never expected to have so much homework. On the bright side, at least the holidays are coming. I also have to arrange my geography assignment to be handed in. The good news is that i'm already done with everything for it! :D So i just need to print it, let teacher check then hand it in.

So that pretty much sums up yet another ordinary week in my life. Sorry that there were no funny things that happened and i couldn't tell you guys about it. Honestly, i don't even know who really reads by blog. Big shoutout to my Grandma because it's her birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA! (: Before i forget to mention, i'm not sure if i'll be able to update next week as i'll be out of town. But if i can i'll try my best to update it. Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week

This week, I literally had no song of the week. BUT THAT ALL CHANGED when i decided to visit that Facebook page again. So here it is... It's Wayfaring Stranger covered by Ed Sheeran. I'm not sure if it's his song or not but there was someone who said it was covered so i'm assuming it is. And here's another version of it because both of them are dope. Hope you enjoy! (wish i had a voice as good as Ed's. T.T) See you all next week.

A Day Late

Hello everyone! Sorry this weeks blog update came a day late. I guess I had a really busy Saturday. For a Saturday meant for studying, I spent most of my time out of the house not studying. Don't think todays blog post will be very long.

The past week was the first week of my Mid Term Examinations. It has been an extremely tiring week for me. Spent my afternoons in daycare just studying. Not saying that i'm this person who's really hardworking and all, but i'm forcing myself to study. I really really need to get good results for this exams, it's kind of important. ):

Then during the weekend, i kind of got some relax time. Watched like vids and such. Stuff that i like to do. Watch videos. After writing this blog post, intense sejarah studying is gonna happen. Also have to read through agama and kh cause those are important subjects too.

As i said, this weeks blog post won't be long. There really is nothing exciting to talk about during exam week. hahaha. HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TOO TO ALL THE BEAUTIFUL MOTHERS THAT HAVE BEEN FEEDING US AND HAVE BEEN BEARING OUR AWFUL ATTITUDES WITH PATIENCE AND LOVE. WE  YOU.  I GOT A LOT OF WORK TO DO NOW SO BYE GUYS! Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week

Yay, at least i still have this segment. This weeks song of the week is Clarity! BUT, it's a cover. Yes, like i said i love watching covers so this weeks cover is a cover done by James Maslow from Big Time Rush. I just got totally mindblown when i heard this cover so check it out. Also, i certainly did not know that he could actually play the piano. I mean, who knew!

The Exams Are Approaching

Hello everyone! Yes, the exams are approaching. It's gonna start on Tuesday the 7th of May. Yikes. I hope i have studied enough. The mid terms are really important.

I don't think i have much to say about the past week because nothing that exciting really happened. The whole week was mainly filled with procrastination and laziness because i do not want to study. On the bright side, Nadiah's birthday was on the 30th of April. or 31st of April, thats how Nadiah would say it to fool people. Well, we had quite a good time celebrating on the next day which happens to be a public holiday!

Yeah, back to the whole birthday celebration thingy. xD It was really fun. We all went to a mall and just hung out. Went karaoke-ing which was absolutely fun! :D We sang many many songs. And pretty much screamed through the mid. We also tried taking selfies by ourselves which kind of ended up really weird but fitting 6 people into a square all by ourselves is definitely an achievement. Considering the fact that my iPod's camera isnt that good, we pulled it off pretty well.

After karaoke-ing we kinda got into a kids ride train ride. xD And we felt kinda embarassed sitting inside the train thingy multiple rounds. There was a kid on the ride too which kinda added to the awkward-ness we were experiencing. After the ride ended, we just ran out of the "cabin" afraid of the people who saw us in the ride. I wish we had time to watch Iron Man 3 though. But the karaoke was pretty fun too.

We took tons of pictures like i said. On all of our phones. We got pictures of our shoes, group shots and our wrists! :D But i think the one picture that really was the awesome-est was our jumpshot. HOORAY FOR JUMPSHOTS! We had to jump so many times before we actually got a proper one. But it was all worth it since it was totally awesome!

So that pretty much sums up the exciting events that happened in the past week. Yes, i guess that was the only event. Also, i just got extremely cool markers from ikea! And have been doodling for the past one hour or so. xD Other than that, Dan released a new video! It's his draw my life. And i am going to link you the video right here. Click it. It's cool. Till here, cheerio!

Song of the Week.

Its that segment again! *inserts confetti* Fortunately, it was a good music week. And with that, i present to you the SONGS of the Week. Just because there's too much awesomeness and it all deserves to be here on my blog. First, its a cover by Max Schneider and Alex G of the song Cruise by Florida Georgia Line. When i first found out about the cover i was just so excited. I love Alex G and Max. So it was probably the awesome-est cover! The second one is the new song by Avril Lavigne titled Here's to Never Growing Up. The best part about the song is the title. It's so Peter Pan-ish. Last but not lease, THE LLAMA SONG sung by Dan. I wont link the original song but if you want to hear the original one you can just search for it. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THE SONGS! :D

Say Cheese!

Wassup people! How are you all today? Another Saturday has arrived and it's time for the weekly post. That was an extremely formal greeting. Ew yuck. Anyway, here's the weekly update. Hope you enjoy! (:

Last Tuesday and Wednesday were school picture day. For some very odd reason i was a part of the editorial board and had slots where i had to help around. Well, we didnt exactly help that much because there were many people from the previous slots that stayed and they kinda did the job for us. So i just went down to spend some time with my friends because they were part of the editorial board too. Not saying that i did not do any work, i did. Just not that much.

Our class photo was pretty fun because during the candid shot our class teacher came and sat with us in front of the rest. It was really cool. I hope i don't look as weird as i do in the past year photo's. -___- The same thing happened when we took the editorial board picture. :D So glad to have sporting teachers like that. Another thing related to the photograph sessions were that people kept on staying when they're not suppose to so there would be people loitering around. And there was this extremely annoying guy bossing us around. Yup. He was directing his message to us and kept on repeating it but my friends really couldn't care less. On the bright side, everyone involved were all awesome including the camera man. He was a really nice dude.

Today, it was the first day of the mid term examinations. OMG. Yes. THANKFULLY i made it through although i kinda rushed through my first paper and kind of got the sequence mixed up but i managed to arrange and complete it. I really hope i'll be able to score higher this time. The mid year examinations are extremely important for me. Also, my geography project that i spent hours on (nah not really) is not enough for my teacher. T.T So, i'll have to continue doing it. nooooooo.

That's pretty much all that happened this week. Like seriously, the photograph sessions were the only fun things that happened this week. Oh yeah, i was also extremely sick this week. ): But i'm better now. *yay1* That's all i have to say today. See you all next week. I hope. (: Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week.

I was just browsing through itunes on my ipod when i came across this song. And since Dan likes Muse i was like why not. So this weeks song of the week is Starlight by Muse. YAY! I honestly didnt know that this was a Muse song. I heard it on radio before but i just had absolutely no idea that it was by Muse. hahaha. I was really shocked. Hope you guys enjoy.

it's that time of the week again!

Hello everyone! It's that time of the week again. It's Saturday! The day after Friday and the day before Sunday. Favourite day of the week and also the day of my weekly update. *confetti* I've been really obsessed with confetti lately.

This week isn't a week that's much more interesting than any other week. To be honest, it was kind of boring. Well, every week is boring to me. In a good way, not a bad way. That did not make any sense at all. *facepalm* I mean I still get to have an extremely good time with my friends, so thats the good thing. The only thing interesting bout this week was the talent show! Yup, you heard right! It happened! (of course it did)

On Tuesday, after school it was the day! THE DAY OF THE TALENT SHOW. There were gonna announce the winners for it but until now we still don't know who won. It will only be announced on Monday during assembly i suppose. Anyway, it was so nerve wrecking to be performing in front of people from school. More people than i expected actually stayed back just to watch including my friends. THANKS GUYS! I appreciate everyone who supported me on that day. As soon as the emcee announced that it was our turn (Kristal and me) to perform, my friends started cheering. It was really awesome!

We got on stage, plugged in the amp, introduced ourselves and started playing. It was kinda scary for me because i have never performed in front of school before and this was quite new. I was kinda scared too because i was gonna start singing it first, Kristal only comes in at the second verse. Thankfully it went well (according to my friends because i kinda messed up with the strumming a little). Honestly, i wished i had someone record the performance for me so that i could post it on here and share it with everyone on the internet!

Okay, here's another cool thing that happened in the past week. Last Sunday, i was kinda bored and as usual, when you're trying to avoid work you tend to do stuff that is new to you. So here's what i did. I opened up garage band and recorded myself singing Headlock. Yes. xD It turned out wayyy better than i expected. Probably one of the first recordings that actually went well out of the many garage band recordings. So i'm gonna link it right ----->here<----- .="" a="" all="" am="" and="" are="" be="" br="" but="" can="" cause="" day.="" download="" downloaded.="" enabled="" file="" gonna="" have="" i="" informed="" is="" it="" lazy="" ll="" mid="" nbsp="" next="" nooooo.="" nother="" of="" on="" our="" papers="" putting="" re="" replacement="" s="" saturday="" school="" site="" so="" some="" soon="" still="" study.="" sudden="" term="" that="" the="" they="" thing="" though="" to.="" to="" too="" we="" why.="" you="">
So yeah, that's pretty much everything interesting that happened in the past week. I hope those were interesting enough for you cause seriously not much happens in my life. Or maybe it's just cause i always dont realize that it's an interesting thing. I really don't know. Well, i just hope you'll enjoy this weeks blog post. See you guys next week. :D Till here, cheerio!

Song of the Week!

This weeks song of the week is yet another cover. xD I don't know why but i watch a lot of cover. Also, for some very odd reason i just really like to listen to Macklemore. Anyway, this weeks song of the week is Can't Hold Us! A cover made by Alex G and Tyler Ward of the song by Macklemore! I personally think this is an awesome cover. Go check it out! :D

Happy 114th Post!

Hello internet. :D The post of this week is completely irrelevant. It was just something that i thought of straight away so why not. xD haha, not many things happened this week though there are some pretty awesome things that did. This week i watched a lot of danisnotonfire. He's a youtube-er just for your info and he's really funny.

Today, 13th of April 2013, Lawson is actually performing right here in KL. But i am not going. Well i didn't want to go at first but then now i feel like going so it's mainly my fault. T.T Anyway, i got Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience today. :D YAYAYAYAYAYAYYYYY! Haven't got an album in a long time so yeah. Haven't listened to it yet but i bet it will be just as awesome as Justin himself. Also, today i was walking around in a local supermarket with a pair of pants on my head. I guess that's just how i am. Weird and awkward... in a good way. Was too lazy to take it off my head so i just left it there for like 20 minutes or so. Honestly wondering what the other people thought of me. xD

During the past week, it was just more and more homework. Fortunately, i have done most of the work so HOORAY FOR THE WEEKEND! Not saying that i don't have anything to do during the weekend but it's not as much as the work i usually have to do. Despite that, i really really have to start studying for the mid term exams. Our teacher informed us that they might be streaming the classes again during the mid term exams again so i have to study really hard for it. Have to start studying also for my PMR examinations. :O

Last Tuesday, my dad came back from his trip to Sydney. He brought a lot of cool stuff home. My mac is no longer naked now! (that sounded really awkward) I have this cool cover shell (at least i think thats what you call it) for it and its PINK! Cool i know. Besides the really awesome cover for my mac, my dad also brought back cool 1D magazines. :DD Only had the time to read 1 so far, hope i can find the time to read the rest too. Oh if i forgot to say it earlier, WELCOME BACK DADDY!

Remember the talent show that i was telling you guys about last week? Yeah, so if you remember.... i'll be taking part in it! At first i guess it was kinda cool but now i'm kinda nervous to be performing. I'm performing it with my friend, Kristal. She's singing the harmony while i am singing the main melody. We're performing a song by Lumineers titled Ho Hey! It's a really simple song to perform but i hope everyone will enjoy listening to the song as much as we enjoy performing it for you all.

I guess that's pretty much all i'll say in this weeks post. Honestly, i did not expect to be writing such a long post this week! I also just have to wait for my friends to go on twitter later in the night tweeting bout how awesome the Lawson concert was. ): Hahaha just kidding. I am certainly enjoying JT's album. Yes, i am listening to it right now and it is just down right awesome! I guess that's all i have to say now. Oh yeah! Sorry for the delay of this weeks post too. Was out almost the whole day. Till here, cheerio.

Song of the Week!

I honestly couldn't pick too. But i have made my decision. This morning i had breakfast at A&W and they were playing MTV. At that time, Chart Attack was playing and they played this really good song that i was instantly hooked to. That song is Say You're Just a Friend by Austin Mahone. As someone who has never heard anything by Austin, this song is pretty awesome. Listen and enjoy. (: See you all next week.
